The Recording Academy, administrators of the renowned Grammy Awards, Grammy Post New Afrobeats Ranking List has caused outrage throughout Nigerian social media following a recent post promoting Afrobeats music and its main singers.

In a tweet released via their official X account, the Grammy Awards recognized the emergence of Afrobeats while recognizing Wizkid , Burna Boy , and Rema as the genre’s best three talents from 2010 to today. The post instantly generated heated conversations online, with many Nigerians condemning the choices and apparent exclusion of other significant people in the sector.
