According to Alli, the appointment was aimed at avoiding a gap in the university’s administration after a proceeding in which the board was forced to suspend the process of appointing a de facto vice president of the school.

The Nigerian Medical Association, NMA and seven other professors have announced that only applicants with a PhD could run for the post of Deputy Prime Minister of the school, putting their members at a disadvantage. I appealed.
