Trinity Guy: He’s just looking for something to eat – Adeni Johnson

Popular Nollywood actor Adeni Johnson called on Nigerian police to use mercy to diminish justice in the case of embattled sketch artist Abdullahi Maruf Adisa, known as Trinity Guy. Naija News recalls that the Ibadan-based content creator was arrested by police last week and was charged in court on Monday for allegedly sexually abusing minors in his viral videos.

The Oyo state district court in Iyaganku, Ibadan, on Monday ordered the cartoonist’s detention in Agodi prison for allegedly sexually exploiting children under the age of 10. Johnson responded to the developments in a post on his Instagram page, saying the comedian was looking for something to eat. He asked the Nigerian police for mercy, adding that the originator of the farce had made a mistake. He wrote: “Dear Nigerian Police and all other relevant authorities, many of us agree that our brothers have done something wrong and senseless. looking for food but accidentally ends up on the wrong side of the law.
