In the Ahiazu Mbaise Council Area of Imo State, Okechukwu Anthony Onyegbule, popularly known as Okey Bakassi Become Traditional ruller a veteran of Nollywood, has been anointed the traditional ruler of Umuihuocha Obohia Autonomous Community.
The seasoned comedian revealed this on his Instagram account, according to Naija News.

According to the Guardian, the 55-year-old performer officially becomes the second king to hold the prestigious OKWE title after being crowned as His Royal Highness, Eze Okechukwu Onyegbule, OKWE II of Umuihuocha Obohia.
On Sunday, he sent the following message on his Instagram account: “A new beginning with special thanks to the entire Umuihuocha Autonomous Community.”
Located in the culturally diverse Mbaise area, Umuihuocha Obohia is a long-standing independent community renowned for its enduring customs and sense of togetherness.
Okey Bakassi’s coronation signaled a fresh start outside of his more than two-decade-long career in entertainment.
It’s unclear if his new vocation would minimize his social activity.
