Man Hospitalized After Getting Beat Up By Wife

The beleaguered husband claimed that recently, when his wife beat him to a coma and he was taken to the hospital, the constant battering reached its pinnacle.

Asserting that the couple lived on Lambe Iluyomade Street in the Ago Okota neighborhood of Lagos, the prosecution, DSP Kehinde Ajayi, informed the court that the couple had a disagreement that turned into a violent argument before the wife assaulted her husband, which resulted in his hospitalization.

The prosecutor asked the court to set a hearing date after the wife entered a not guilty plea to the two-count accusation of assault and violence.

The defendant was given bail in the amount of N100,000 with two sureties in the same amount, and the case was continued until June 6 by the magistrate, Mrs. E. Kubenije.
