IPOB insurgents kill 3 drivers from Dangote and lay bodies in Imo. on fire
Suspected IPOB insurgents killed a Dangote supporter, Saidu Alhassan, and two of his assistants, Halliru Mallam and Danjuma Isari, in Orsu parish, Imo state.
Daily Nigeria reported on Wednesday that the incident occurred while he was returning to his Obahana base, Kogi, after unloading cement at the Dangoto cement depot in Orle.
According to sources, the perpetrators first ordered them to get out of the car, and after finding out that they were all from the north, they were shot and their bodies burned.
Their bodies were found near the trailer on Thursday and were then evacuated to Obahana. Since the new wave of recovery in the southeast, security forces, northerners and stay-at-home violators have faced heavy attacks from banned separatist groups.
In particular, in May this year, armed groups killed Ahmed Grak, a former political adviser to former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. In April, IPOB militants fired at six vendors, Suya and Umakanyaba in Oruru.
